Something that has always concerned me about 'fluid' website layouts is the horrific length that the lines of text can stretch to under certain resolutions. Now I'm fully aware that users with wide screen monitors and similar resolutions do not exactly take up the bulk of the web viewing public, but, as we know from constant blathering reminders, 'Content is King', so this got me thinking about how important the length of the lines in a text passage are for ...

Googling you're own name is possibly the most time-consuming habit of curiousity since Stumbleupon. Here some of my favourite results from 10 minutes well spent.

I think it's about time I stopped thinking about all those old series I want to watch, for the simple reason that they've all been licensed by now anyway and that means I can't watch them at Crunchy Roll (sad face). However, because Japan creates roughly 70% of all animated television in the world, there is bound to be a new-ish series out there for me, that would also give me something to follow ...

It's a been a long, arduous week for me: my computer packed up on me on Sunday. Luckily, before it was picked up by the good folk at Dell to be fixed, I managed to get most of of my 'My Documents' folder copied/backed up onto DVD-RWs. I'm actually quite surprised. The first few days at school didn't seem quite as arduous or difficult as I had imagined. The first two days or so were basically leading the my first outing for this term's touch rugby activity: always a favourite of mine, it tends to attract those rugby players who aren't drafted into the hockey season (i.e. the lumpiest of forwards, sprinkled with some nippy backs). A few new logos here. Not really sure if I like them that much, but I do have a certain soft spot for the big, 'Yoshi' one. A new year, a new 365 days to have fun and enjoy what life likes to throw at me at high speeds (often pointy too).
