Adventures in India

January 30th, 2008 - Life

Don't have time to write much to be honest, we're all sharing a computer out here due to constant power cuts. I'm posting my reading list though, doing plenty of that out here, passes the time nicely.

Pressure on the British Youth

January 14th, 2008 - Life

Not sure what the situation is in the rest of the world but I clocked yesterday why all the young people in Britain are dissillusioned, lazy, and don't give a flying fuck while watching Mock The Week last night. We're told our whole academic life to do well in exams, study hard, get good grades all for that on exam or shot at university, and what does the older generation/media generally say when we consistently get better grades? 'Oh they ...

Classic!

January 11th, 2008 - Life

Talking about TV shows we watched as kids in the office today, nearly forgot the name of my all time favourite show, Bravestarr, but i remembered all the more famous ones, such as Superted, Bananaman, Teletubbies (not really). Interesting. Leaving for India in the next few days!

Dans Paris

December 22nd, 2007 - Life

Got back from my two-day trip to Paris with my girlfriend yesterday, had a lovely time, and read a very good book called 'The Forever War', the first book if the Science Fiction Masterworks collection I'm trying to get through. One interesting thing I thought I'd share was seeing the Eiffel Tower. Just finished up touches for the next release of my 'Get Firefox' Banner plugin, be sure to download it. No idea what I'm on about? Read the original post.

In Rainbows…

October 15th, 2007 - Life

Is a very sexy album. It's been on loop on my iTunes since I downloaded: every time I listen to it it get's cooler. That is the power of Radiohead's music, pretty potent if you ask me. If you haven't heard it yet, download either 'Nude' or 'Bodysnatchers'. Also, to celebrate: new music by me. I've been working on this a while, just did the ending in a moment of inspiration yesterday.

Courage, the Cowardly Dog

August 24th, 2007 - Life

According to Google Analytics, I'm recieving about 15 unique visits a day, where as my WP-Counterize II plugin suggests 100 ... I feel a little less guilty now for leaving this poor lonely blog to swelter in the unwavering heat of obscurity and produce a filthy stench of neglect. I do have a plan, to all those 15 of who care to read (and 3 of whom actually return), and the plan starts with a design, and therein lies the ...

Working (part deux)

July 12th, 2007 - Life

It's great what I can learn in only a few days of work, and I don't even mind (yet) that I'm not getting too much money for it. I just developed a dynamic portfolio system for my employer's website, including methods of filtering the projects and uploading images, entirely in PHP. I'll tell you now, I am immensely proud of itThe most advanced thing I've done before this is a simple forum., and when it finally goes ...
