Using Wordpress as a CMS

During my time at Active Webdezign, my knowledge of the intracies of the Wordpress system meant that using Wordpress as a simple CMS was commonplace, which meant the coding/implementation mainly fell on my shoulders. WhySearch Extranet

WhySearch are an SEO company, who needed a simple, accessible extranet to allow the management and clients to view leads and calculate commission. The site was built using Object-Orientated PHP (my first attempt at this style of programming) and a MySQL database. The system allowed the administrator to create clients and leads, and each client gets an individual login to view only their leads.

Black Camel

Note: My role here was programmer, so the design isn't by me. Visit the site So far, this was the most advanced CMS-style Wordpress I've produced at Active Webdezign. When it came to training, since the client was situated in Glasgow, Scotland, whereas I'm in London, training was done via e-mail and a manual produced by yours truly. The key advantage of this method is most of the manual can be re-used for future projects.

Innovation Valley are a company, grouped with Middlesex Unniversity in London, that attempts to provide for and search for business ventures with innovative and new ideas. Sylvester Meadow

Note: This site is no longer live, as the band is now defunct. I included this project mainly to display the first attempt at pure CSS design. AW Presentations

After building a portfolio administration system in PHP for my employers Active Webdezign, the director came up witht he idea of creating on-the-fly presentations for potential clients. Each presentation contains a list of chosen portfolio entries in a slideshow, and a description of the presentation. Once created, each presentation has a unique ID, so the presentation is reusable.
