That exclamation point has some serious implications: two great things occurred today in my direction.

The first of these is getting a solid A grade in my ICT coursework. In fact, my teacher went as far as too say that “this is the highest mark she has even given a project at this level” and “can I have permission to use this in future years, as well as a copy of the software to go along with it”. Now I think I deserve a little gloat after all that hard work, and I have to say I am immensely happy, despite the fact that she hasn’t given me back my raw mark out of 90 yet. If there was a ‘smiley’ appropriate for this sort of satisfaction, this post would be plagued with them, because, to be honest, I was worried about my mark because of my lack of motivation this year compared to last year (apparently the fact I chose and successfully implemented a complicated project boosted my marks by a fair amount.

The second of these is the fact I just watched the latest Heroes episode after a 6 week hiatus.

That was a painful experience, but ‘finally’ my favourite TV show (fullstop) has returned with an incredible first episode, and judging by the cliffhangar at the end, the remaining four episodes of this season look to be an intense affair. And also, Heroes has been signed on for a second season. Happy Happy Joy Joy!
