Some new logos

A few new logos here. Not really sure if I like them that much, but I do have a certain soft spot for the big, ‘Yoshi’ one.

A new year, a new 365 days to have fun and enjoy what life likes to throw at me at high speeds (often pointy too). A new term at school starting tomorrow too … and that start of my duties as one of the School Staff. This basically means that I have to look after the lunch queue on Tuesdays, to stop the rowdy young ‘uns from tearing each other’s faces off.

On another note, since my skills in the kitchen are limited to pasta, salads, scrambled eggs and anything that can go in the microwave, I’ve decided that my New Year’s resolution will be to learn how to cook properly. This, and also to generally be a bit more self-sufficient, especially as I’ll be working from September hopefully, and off to Uni the next. Speaking of Uni, I just got all my offers, so after my open day at Kent University (hoping to study BSc in Multimedia Technology & Design), I’ll have to decide where to spend 4 years1 of my life.

Well the new year should be a good year. Hopefully I’ll get some more website design done at some point, as well as finishing this damned ICT project, which is taking up my whole life at the moment. I cannot wait for this horrible torturous coursework to end! Oh, and I went to my uncle’s wedding the other day. He is another website design maestro, except he probably has more talent in Flash and .NET than I’ll ever know. Anyway, best of luck to him and his new wife!

Meanwhile…

I realized this past week how much I loved Naruto (that is, before the filler started). The catalyst for this was that Naruto DVD my uncle (yep, him again: what a Legend) got me. And now I’m watching the whole series all over again over the great Crunchy Roll. That is, until the NEW ARC starts on February the 15th! What a great way to start the viewing year: Bleach filler just ended the other day, LOST starts again on February 7th in the States, and now this.. I cannot wait!
On the last boss in Zelda at the moment. I’m a bit reluctant to finish the game actually, seeing as how bloody long and good it is. Ah well, it should be satisfying. On to Final Fantasy XII next!

Onwards!

  1. I’m going to do a ‘Thick Sandwich’ course, which basically means the 4 year course, one year of which is working full time [back]
