The last few yards

Look at that, 3 posts in 5 days (A record for me) and then nothing for about 10. I am not a good blogger. But then again, I want to blog about anime and web design, and I have had no time whatsoever to do either, mainly due to my wireless and internet being alarmingly slow. Anyhow …
The long, ardous journey that is my ICT Project is nearly over: So far I must be on about 150 pages (last year’s was 350) into the finished product, but in real terms I guess I’ve made about 300. It was a strange sensation when I was told on Wednesday how little work the implementation report needed to get top marks: joy at the prospect of not having to do around 500 pages, but the horror at realizing I had wasted the 10 days it took to get 200 pages in the first place.
At least after I get this implementation done, I only have a few more bits to do, besides polishing up the whole thing at the end, so that should take me comfortably into half-term with enough hours free to have a social life. I just had to demonstrate to the class how it worked, and effectively got told it was incredible accompanied by a round of applause, which to be honest is credit enough.
On another note, it frustrates me some time how large corporations never seem to be able to meet web standards simply because 90-odd% of the market use IE, leaving Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, Safari etc all out in the cold.
The king returns
Jonny Wilkinson returned to English rugby last week, playing nearly a whole game after just 40 minutes club time, and in the process amassing 27 points. Here’s a low-quality vid of his try against Scotland:
