Working (part deux)

It’s great what I can learn in only a few days of work, and I don’t even mind (yet) that I’m not getting too much money for it. I just developed a dynamic portfolio system for my employer’s website, including methods of filtering the projects and uploading images, entirely in PHP. I’ll tell you now, I am immensely proud of it1, and when it finally goes live, I’ll post the full details on the project here.

Not entirely sure why I’m not posting much, I don’t really have too much to report in terms of whats going on in my vie. I’m still working at a web-design agency in Woodside Park, London, I’m still toiling away my hours playing World of Warcraft, still seeing my friends and enjoying a practically-married life with my wonderful girlfriend, still hitting the gym in the hope of getting strong enough to play both Old Millhillians and University rugby, despite being only 5′ 11″. Pretty stagnant to be honest, but for once in my life, I don’t care. I’m not trying the save the world at the moment, and my ambitions don’t extend beyond my little bubble of a world for now, though in August I’m going to Florida (yay) and in January i’m heading out to India for 5 weeks.

Anyway, all’s good in the world. I’ll write some more once … well I’ve got more to write about :).

  1. The most advanced thing I’ve done before this is a simple forum. [back]
