Yes, but will it blend?

Apparently, iPods will.

I’m well aware that the layout keeps switching around, but I’m looking for that perfect combination of this current, more visually engaging theme and the more practical one I sometimes run, which at the moment looks rather fugly. I’m actually in the South of Spain at the moment, but I’ve got an idea brewing of how to achieve that holy grail of theme design.

Though I’m not really the really the religious type, I’ve been interested in the ‘Revelations’ style of the writings. Morose, I know, but it interests me. Good stuff out there as well. A year or two back, I picked up this 12-151 books series called ‘Left Behind’, which concerned what would happen if the apocalypse according to the ‘Books of Revelations’ in the Bible. At first, it was pretty fun, but after a while it got silly, and praying seemed to solve every problem and it became too fantastical rather than the realistic and non-religous take I was hoping for. I gave up after a while because of this, so imagine my surprise when I came across this, being reported as generally being a SFU, especially will all the kerfuffle over video game violence. For example, if you pray after spraying a non-believer with a hail of AK-47 bullets, its okay!. Apologies for any painful laughter or vomit on your keyboard. Ouch. But this thing is gonna shift quite a few copies. Argh.

Still Wii-ing2. Zelda is fantastic: imagine the sequel to Ocarina of Time, yet with a much more mature story, and everything that was good about OOT being about 10 times better. I love it. It’s already near the top of my ‘favourite games ever list’, but it’s still getting better.

Enjoying the wind in Spain. I seem to forget that it can not be sunny in Spain… I only bought one pair of trousers … brrr

  1. Can’t remember, I didn’t get that far (read on) [back]
