New features in this release of the plugin include customizable colours (using a snazzy colour picker no less) and the banner staying close for the whole browser session once it's clicked.

Now I realise this is starting to look like overkill, but it's nice practice for me at least. Got to think of my next plugin now!

Congratulations!

So, you said you would add this, but you don’t mention it here, so let me just ask; Have you added the option to not have any background color on the text? And you say “staying close for the whole browser session”, but how about if someone closes the browser, and then comes back? I would appreciate it if the cookie would still remember that it should stay closed.

Also, I have another request: Could you make the close button look more like (and be in the same place as) the close button that IE normally uses on that kind of messages?

Seems I haven’t mentioned it your right, but yeah there is now an option to remove the the text’s background colour.

The only problem with the cookie was that, as far as I could see, you had to explicitly choose at date/time for the cookie to run out, I couldn’t find a way to get this to run indefinitely.

As for the close button, what I’ll do in the next release is maybe replace the X with an image, but I’ll probably leave in the same place just because it’s easiest.
