Work: Using WordPress as a CMS
Wordpress provides a relatively simple CMS for small sites

During my time at Active Webdezign, my knowledge of the intracies of the WordPress system meant that using WordPress as a simple CMS was commonplace, meaning the coding/implementation on most sites mainly fell on my shoulders.
The basic process started with me being handed a sitemap and a CSS/XHTML template of the design. From there I would build the site, including structure, templates and a custom contact form plus skinning and editing the administration section. The reason I haven’t decided to split the project into individuals entries is 1) I didn’t design most of them and 2) most of the work that went into each was similar.
